The Middle Final and the Long races will take place near Csókakő, on the terrain Csókakő-Csákberény. The village of Csókakő, located at the foot of the Vértes Mountains, has around 1500 residents, and lays 43 km (47 min of driving) from the Event Centre. This area has flat highlands and long ridges cut through by 50-75 meter deep valleys, parts of it having detailed contours. The flat parts have close to no stones, while the steeper parts have many stones and dolomite cliffs. The vegetation is mixed deciduous forest alongside with a few open areas, as well as areas with thicker vegetation. The runability is generally good, reduced by stony and steep slopes, and green areas. The visibility is excellent in the open and “white” forest areas, while limited at that time of year in the green parts. A developed network of paths and forest roads characterise the track density.
You are encouraged to try yourself on this terrain, too, at Hungária Cup, the official spectator race of the EOC!
